Habitat Butterflies Conservation Center In Bohol Philippines

Habitat Butterflies Conservation Center is a quaint butterfly sanctuary in a tropical setting with guided tours and restaurant. Located in Poblacion, Bilar Bohol, Philippines and is very accessible from the main road.

With 50-peso entrance fee, you can roam around the farm with the help of a tour guide. That was the main reason why our driver (sit-in coach) pointed us to visit this farm above the others.

On the entrance, you will immediately see the framed butterfly species. There were male and female butterflies as well as the largest among all of its kind. They also have samples on the life cycle of a butterfly.

We were also amazed by the idea that there is really a “GAY” butterfly. It was called a gay butterfly because of its uneven wings.

The guide also has his tricks on shooting photos with the butterflies on frame. 

They also have a huge hammock where you can sit and relax after the tour.

If you want to help maintain the area, they have placed a donation box on the entrance for those kindhearted people. Any amount will do.
